Our Journey
Summer 2026 was our first full season of public activations, delivered across the LTA's Grass Court Season and powered by Lexus. We put PlayMoovin' sport wheelchairs in front of the public at scale for the first time, in some of the most iconic tennis venues in the country.

Our public launch moment. The chairs were visible, accessible and at the centre of a buzzing event, with strong on-the-ground energy from participants and families.

Lexus Eastbourne Community Day · 28 June
The Community Day at Devonshire Park was one of the best sessions of the summer - a fantastic turnout, brilliant atmosphere, and a real demonstration of what this programme can be.
Feedback
All staff commented how much fun the boys had as it really is different to anything they have tried before. Would we recommend doing this again? 100%. Thank you for letting us trial this. We would love to run it again next year.
This experience was truly above and beyond what I'd imagined. It was catered for anyone, everyone - it didn't matter if you'd never held a racket or even manoeuvred a wheelchair (like me!)
Our Year 4 children really enjoyed the wheelchair tennis session with Alfie last Friday - they were still talking about it when they came back in after the weekend!!
With fun games to get used to playing wheelchair tennis, an opportunity to play with Alfie and plenty of time for questions, it was fantastic!
I would love if the session was longer so we could get better at moving the wheelchairs and we could learn some cool moves!
I really want to do it again so we can practise the skills we learned and learn new ones too.
