What we do with your details when you contact us. In plain English, because you should not need a solicitor to understand what happens to your own information.

Who we are

Get In And Go is a sport wheelchair hire programme operated by AHP25 Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16418222), whose registered office is at 1 London Road, Ipswich, England, IP1 2HA. We are the data controller for the information described below, which means we are responsible for looking after it.

You can reach us about anything on this page at enquiries@alfiehewett.com.

What we collect

Only what you type into one of our forms. We do not buy data about you, and we do not collect anything in the background while you browse.

  • Contact form: your name, email address, the organisation you are writing from if you tell us, and your message.
  • Rental enquiry tool: your name, email address, phone number, the school or club you represent, your postcode, the dates and number of chairs you want, and how you heard about us.

We ask for a postcode because delivery is priced by distance. It is used to calculate your quote, not to identify where you live.

Why we have it

To answer your enquiry, give you a price, and arrange a hire if you go ahead. That is the only reason. We do not send marketing, and we do not sell or share your details with anyone for their own purposes.

Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: you have contacted us about hiring wheelchairs, and replying to you is the obvious and expected thing for us to do with what you sent.

If you start the enquiry form and do not finish it

The rental tool has two steps. If you complete the first step and then leave without submitting, we keep the details you had already entered so we can pick the enquiry up with you. There is a note on that step of the form telling you this before you continue.

We do this because a half-finished enquiry usually means someone was interrupted rather than that they changed their mind. If you would rather we deleted those details, email us and we will remove them.

Who else sees it

Form submissions are stored by Netlify, who host this website, and are emailed to us at Microsoft 365. Both act on our instructions and do not use your information for their own purposes.

Netlify also runs an automatic spam check on submissions so that genuine enquiries are not buried in junk.

Beyond that, only the small team running the programme sees your enquiry.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for up to 24 months from the last time we were in touch, then deleted. If a hire goes ahead, we keep the booking records for as long as we have to for tax and accounting purposes.

If you ask us to delete your details sooner, we will, unless we are legally required to keep them.

Cookies and analytics

This website does not use cookies, and there is no advertising on it. Nothing here follows you to other websites or builds a profile of you. That is why you have not been asked to accept anything.

We use Plausible Analytics to see how many people visit the site and which pages are useful. It counts visits without cookies, without following you around the internet, and without collecting anything that identifies you. We see totals and trends, never individuals. The data is stored in the European Union.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • tell you what information we hold about you
  • correct anything that is wrong
  • delete it
  • stop using it
  • send you a copy in a portable format

Email enquiries@alfiehewett.com and we will deal with it within one month. There is no charge.

If you are unhappy

Please tell us first and we will try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK regulator for data protection, at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this notice

If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
