Corporate and funding enquiries

Bring wheelchair sport to the schools you care about.

Get In And Go delivers entry-level sport wheelchairs to schools and clubs across the UK, so disabled and non-disabled children can play wheelchair sport side by side. Partners fund the weeks. We handle everything else.

1 million

children trying wheelchair sport: our goal

Three ways to get involved

01

Fund specific school weeks

A full week of chairs in a school, delivered, collected and maintained by us. You choose the schools, near your offices or in the communities you serve.

02

Back a regional rollout

A term-long programme across a county or city: tens of schools, impact reporting you can share, and coaching with inclusive-sport specialists in the areas we can cover.

03

Bring it to your team

A wheelchair sport experience for your colleagues, at a venue near you. An engagement day for your team that funds chairs in schools at the same time.

Why it matters

Only 26% of young disabled people say they can always take part in sport at school, against 38% of their non-disabled peers. The reasons are practical: sport wheelchairs are expensive to buy, hard to store and need maintaining. Get In And Go removes all three. We bring the chairs to the school, for everyone in the class, and take them away again.

“I was in the classroom doing homework while everyone else did PE.”

How a funded week works

  1. 01We agree the schools and dates with you.
  2. 02The chairs arrive at the school the Friday before their week.
  3. 03A full week of wheelchair sport in PE, clubs and lunchtimes, for every child in the class. Coaching with inclusive-sport specialists can be added in some areas – ask us.
  4. 04We collect the chairs and send you photos and a short impact summary from the week.

Questions

Do schools need specialist kit, facilities or staff?

No. Any school hall or court works. Schools don’t need an existing programme or any wheelchair users, and we provide everything.

Is it only for disabled children?

No. It’s for every child in the class. Most children who try the chairs have never used one before, and that’s the point: disabled and non-disabled children playing together.

Where do you deliver?

Across the UK.

Can we choose the schools?

Yes. You can choose specific schools, an area around your offices, or ask us to recommend schools in a region.

How much does it cost?

It depends on the number of schools, their locations and whether coaching is included. We’ll scope it with you on a short call.

Who makes the chairs?

They’re entry-level sport wheelchairs made by PlayMoovin’, designed so children of all abilities can use them.
